St Thomas Big Band – Aquinas College April 10th 2011
The St Thomas Big Band performed as the head line act at Aquinas College on the 10th of April 2011. The band has a close affinity with this Catholic Boys school with all of its members being students who have graduated from the college. This professional 18 piece jazz big band performed many well known jazz standards in the styles of swing, funk, ballads and latin.
John Birchenall and Sparanda Herbert 2nd April 2011
John Birchenall and Sparanda Herbet were married on Saturday the 2nd April at a ceremony at the chapel of St Michael the Archangel in West Leederville at 11:00am. The Wedding Music Planner was involved in the organisation, musical direction, consultation and performance of the ceremony music which included Pachebel’s Cannon in D, This Day, From the Inside Out, Amazing Grace and Now That You’re Near. This music was arranged and performed by a small ensemble consisting of Joel Chelliah, Simon Montgomery and Rebecca Gawel on vocals with Davia Bennett on Violin and Simon Montgomery on piano.
