Shimmer is an acoustic/sequenced trio located in Perth, Western Australia, that specialises in wedding and corporate entertainment.
Shimmer offer both low volume dinner acoustic music, and a more up-tempo dance orientated repertoire that would typically follow a night formalities such as the dinner, or in the case of a wedding reception, the first dance.
Specialising in weddings, but also experienced in other style events including presentation nights, dinner dances, and corporate Christmas parties. Shimmer love doing weddings, and as mentioned, this is our speciality. Early in the night, performing as acoustic, Shimmer present you and your guests to smooth vocal melodies, complete with tight three part harmonies, which sit on top of the beautiful sounds of the acoustic guitar, accompanied by the smooth beats of the percussion pad. This is perfectly suited for weddings ceremonies, pre-dinner drinks, dinner music or easy listening background for corporate functions and dinners.

Later in the evening, Shimmer will then move up the tempo, and use sequenced backing to provide the full sound of music to entice the people onto the dance floor. They provide a wide range of popular dance music across the board, which is perfectly suited to the different ages groups that would make up an event such as a wedding, where there may be the younger guests, as well as plenty suited to the older family members, so that they can also enjoy the night.
Shimmer also look after the music between the live sets; presenting an opportunity to include any music that you may wish to be part of the night, which is not part of their repertoire. They have a wide range of music to select from, and many playlists of songs that we have used at many weddings and functions, ranging from newer top 40 to the classic dance/rock that has proven over and over again to be popular to all age groups.
