Adam Lorenti and Be-Nazeer Wedding Reception 7th January 2012

by The Wedding Music Planner

The wedding reception of Adam Lorenti and Be-Nazeer was held at Sitella Winery in the Swan Valley from 6pm – 12am. Adam and Be-Nazeer contacted the team at The Wedding Music Planner after searching online for wedding music entertainment specialists to provide the music organisation for their wedding day, the 7th of January 2012. They had special need of organisation and planning services as they were currently living in Toronto, Canada for work and had limited access or knowledge of local Perth vendors.

Simon Montgomery from The Wedding Music Planner liaised with Adam from early 2011, via email, giving quotes for various entertainment options including a jazz band and disc-jockey combination. Adam and Be-Nazeer’s musical tastes lead them to be wanting music that would be funky and soulful as well the possibility for some Bosa Nova to be played as a part of the evening. After presenting a number of different options to Adam he decided that they would like the option of Domenic Zurzolo, guitarist and disc-jockey.

Adam and Be-Nazeer requested that Domenic would perform his solo guitar set for the first half of their reception as their guests arrived and enjoyed their meals. For later in the evening Domenic would then turn to his DJ duties and get the dance floor moving with a combination of soul, funk and hip-hop tunes. Adam and Be-Nazeer also had a number of songs that they requested to be played at various parts of the evening.

The bridal party entered the balcony area of Sitella to the song “Grazing in the Grass” by Hugh Masekela. This song provided significant meaning to the couple with it being the theme music from the website that they created to communicate the various wedding details with their guests throughout the preparation process.

Adam and Be-Nazeer later in the evening cut their wedding cake to the sounds of Natalie Cole singing “Everlasting Love” before surprising their families and guests with a prepared tango that they learnt for their first dance to the song “Asi se Baila el Tango” by Veronia Verdier. Adam provided the music to The Wedding Music Planner team prior to the wedding day, this ensured that the right version of the song would be used.

Domenic managed to keep a number of the crowd on the dance floor throughout the evening as he tried to appeal to the older demographic present at the wedding. His song selection provided a solid foundation for the wedding atmosphere to be build upon throughout the evening making it a memorable night for all the guests.

As the evening drew to a close the happy newly wed couple departed to the song “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” which was also the song that they requested to leave the church from at the conclusion of their ceremony. This use of the same song helped to link the importance and significance of the ceremony earlier the day to the fun and celebratory atmosphere that occurred at the wedding reception.

Congratulation to Adam and Be-Nazeer on their wedding day. The Wedding Music Planner team wishes you every success for your future life together as husband and wife.
