You have so many things to sort out that you are so worried you’ll forget something or you won’t be ale to choose exactly what you want. This is why you should try to start your planning a few years in advance. Unfortunately its not always that easy so in this article we are going to talk about the quickest and most effective way to plan your wedding so that you don’t have to worry and stress. Read on through this article and you could be planning your wedding straight away!

The first thing that you are going to need to do is to decide the theme of your wedding. Do you want to get married in a particular season? Do you want your wedding to be styled around a certain theme such as a movie or a country? Do you want to have a certain color in your wedding theme or do you just want to stay traditional and go for all the classic elements of a wedding? When you have decided on the theme then you can think about all the other aspects of your wedding and can work out how to tie them together. Once you have a theme then you should think about the venue. Knowing how many people you want to attend your wedding as also a good idea so spend an evening with you partner writing down the names of all the people you’d like to invite.

When you have your guest number (roughly) then you can start looking for venues. It might be a good idea at this point to set up a budget that you can work to. Allocate rough estimates to each part of the wedding and where you save on some, you can spend on others. When looking for a venue you should consider the capacity, the facilities and how it can tie into your theme. If you are having a traditional wedding then any room that can fit tables in can be decorated to your style but if you are having a specific theme such as “safari” then why not think outside the box and get married in a zoo or nature reserve? Ask them what services they provide and see if you can get a discount by using them for your ceremony, reception and catering too.

Then comes the dress! It may take you some time to find the right dress for you and this isn’t a process you should rush. Buying a wedding dress out of desperation simply means that you will end up feeling uncomfortable throughout the day and unhappy every time you look back through your wedding photos. Do some research before you visit the stores and decide roughly what you want your dress to look like. Don’t forget the accessories and make sure that everything feels comfortable when you wear it. You will also have to organize the bridesmaids dresses but make sure that the groom does his own outfit and that he knows what you want from him.

Finally you will have to organize all the other details such as the catering, the cake, the invitations, the flowers and the honeymoon! Just remember that all this planning can sometimes get too much so don’t be afraid to ask someone for help and make sure that your groom pulls his weight! Enjoy planning your wedding and have a beautiful big day that you will remember for the rest of your life.
